In the Suzuki Jimny in particular, the space inside is very limited. What could be more sensible than putting some of the equipment on the roof? Whether it's transport boxes, canisters, recovery boards or even a roof tent, you can transport everything safely on the ExRoof roof rack for the Jimny FJ.
Light and stable
The ExRoof is made of high-quality powder-coated 6063 aluminum and weighs just 26 kg, making it a real lightweight. But don't let its lightness fool you. Despite its slim shape, the roof rack can dynamically carry up to 100 kg and statically even up to 300 kg.
Sufficient space
With a size of 1600 mm x 1250 mm x 49 mm, the ExRoof roof rack for the Jimny offers enough space to reliably stow your equipment. With the all-round profile rail, you can attach a variety of attachments using slot nuts, which are available as accessories. This means you can adapt the roof rack perfectly to your needs.
Extensive accessories
Another extra for the ExRoof roof rack is lashing eyes for securing your luggage. These can also be easily attached to the ExRoof roof rack. And for all fans of roof tents, there are quick-release fasteners for the ExRoof roof tent. These make it quick and easy to assemble your roof tent. You can also secure the quick-release fasteners with locks to protect your roof tent from theft. Please note that this accessory is not included with the roof rack; it must be ordered separately.

2 schwere Pakete ließen es erahnen: hier kommt was Hochwertiges! Der Zusammenbau war etwas verwirrend, weil Dachträger und -füße 2 separate Anleitungen haben. Mit etwas Nachdenken war es dann aber in ca. 1h machbar alles zusammen zu bauen. Füße und Träger machen einen sehr wertigen Eindruck: alles ist sauber verarbeitet, die schwarze Beschichtung scheint recht widerstandsfähig zu sein. Die Größe ist eigentlich optimal für den Jimny FJ, allerdings hätte er für mich ruhig noch mal 10-20cm länger sein dürfen. Was ich wirklich genial finde, ist dass man den Träger auf den Füßen ein wenig in alle 4 Richtungen verschieben kann. Das lässt Spielraum, wenn man bspw. eine Markise anbringen möchte und mehr/weniger Dachüberstand braucht. Auf den einzelnen Querstreben kann ich mich mit 70kg Körpergewicht ohne Probleme drauf stellen. Einziges Manko: ich bezweifle, dass die mitgelieferten Schrauben, Muttern, Unterlegscheiben rostfrei sind. Schön wäre es außerdem gewesen, wenn die Schrauben, Muttern, Unterlegscheiben auch schwarz lackiert wären.
Der Dachträger ist für meinen Suzuki Jimny FJ perfekt! Länge, Breite und Höhe passen optimal zum Fahrzeug. Ganz einfach die Dachreling abnehmen und die vorhandenen Löcher für den Dachträger verwenden.
Sogar die Radioantenne wurde berücksichtigt und lässt sich trotz Dachträger komplett ausziehen. Hervorragendes Produkt!
